White Coat Ceremony/ Colts game
Ryan had a white coat ceremony where they have all the dental students line up and then announce who they are and where they come from. They then put their professional white coat to welcome them into the school of dentistry. It was pretty fun to think the next time we'll be sitting there that it will be graduation.
We also went to the Colts football game when they played the Redskins. It was so much fun! The stadium is like an airport it's so huge. It was the first NFL game either of us have been too. I got sick, however, from the beer that was around us. But nothing that some good sprite wouldn't fix. It cost $4 though! WOW! It was fun to see John Beck be the QB for the redskins even though the game was that intense.
Update: I LOVE my job! The people I work with are awesome. And I had a fun weekend going to Louisville Kentucky to the temple. What a fun city!

Dental Assisting
The sisters called me because they needed a ride to their dentist appointment. After serving a mission I will always help out the missionaries! So after lunch when we got there and I started talking to the receptionist. I mentioned how much I loved working in dental offices and how much fun the environment is. She said, "We are actually looking for someone to cover one of our assistance's maternity leave." I said I'd love too. So I went in this week and had so much fun! Just like good old times. Every office does things a little different so they were showing me the ropes with this office. The dentist is a Bishop in my stake. It's so nice to know that he's a member of my church so I know his standards and values. The girls are so cute! I'm so excited!
That was such an obvious example that if you put the Lord's work first he takes care of you. I wanted to keep up my skills so I can help Ryan when he's a dentist one day. How fun!
The same day I started at my new job we had Ryan's aunt Carolee & cousin Jaraline stay the night on their way to D.C. It was fun to have them stay. It was like a little bit of home. These are good times never to be forgotten :)
I also have been complimented a lot recently how much people love my ring. Ryan did such a good job! I love him and am glad he went through all the trouble trying to design my ring on his own. I do love my ring!

Growing from difficult times
So can I just say that Vitamin B6 with a 1/2 of a Unisom at night can take away those nauseous mornings. Yes, it really works. Yesterday I felt like I was back to myself again.
There's a lot to be said for going through things that are difficult in your life to help you appreciate the good times. Opposition in all things is so true. I often take for granted good health. This is something that is a tremendous blessing. My heart goes out to those who are suffering from sickness! I think of the kind of endurance they gain mentally as well as spiritually if they learn and grow from the situation.
What's interesting about these situations is that the Lord is going to have us go through difficult times regardless of whether we use the opportunity for growth. It's our choice to decide what each situation brings. With a positive attitude you can make the best of all the situations that are brought your way. You choose! The moments in my life that I tend to remember are the ones that I chose for the situation to teach me rather than cripple me. I cannot say every situation in my life I've recognized the positive learning from a difficult circumstance. However, I believe that's why we're here. To commit after those struggles to never let it conquer our spirits!

7 weeks and already sick :(
This is my 7 week picture. It's interesting how drastically things can change when you're pregnant. I've hit the stage of being sick. :( Nauseous, dizzy, and tired. The simplest tasks take me quite a bit longer. Weird how that works. I hate to say it but I think I’m excited to show because then people understand why your’e so slow. We had a family over for dinner with the missionaries and it took me all day to cook a large meal. I had to sit down a lot. I’m definitely not used to that.
However, come date night I seem to be fine so far. This is right before our fun date with our neighbors. I save my energy all day to be able to go out with Ryan and have a good time. I’m hoping being sick is just in the first trimester. But I don’t know?

Nauvoo!
Ryan and I took off on the 5 1/2 hour road trip Saturday morning. We were meeting Ryan's brother, Jordan, and his girlfriend, Amanda, there. We met up at 12:30 and had a picnic outside the visitor center. Then we headed over to the browning center where we took the tour and learned all about the guns. I filmed it because last year when I went with my parents my dad was so bummed because he didn't get to see it. Then we went to the 2:00 session in the Nauvoo temple. WOW! I love that temple. It's so incredibly gorgeous. Afterwords we realized it was the last night of the pageant so we decided to stay and see it. The mosquitos were biting me all over my legs! I ended up with 16 on one leg and 11 on the other. I finally was able to get a blanket around my legs and enjoy the show.
Before the pageant we ate dinner at "The" buffet in Nauvoo. Last year I ate there and ate myself sick. This picture is of my mom from last year after the buffet! This year we ate a lot! However, I was smarter and didn't get sick! It was so fun! Oh, we loved it!
After the pageant we realized we wouldn't be able to drive all the way home without falling asleep. We stopped in Malcomb Illinois, just an hour east of Nauvoo. There we found "Star Motel" that was only $37 a night and had a church that was 5 minutes away that we could go to the next morning. I was so impressed with the hotel. It had a fridge and everything else. Usually you'll go to a Hilton and not even have a fridge. Ryan and I only bought one pair of clothes and so we hung them up at night and let the air conditioner blow on them to try and freshin them up for church. Needless to say in sacrament the next morning a lady who was at the same buffet as us said, "Hey, you both were at the same buffet last night that I was." I remember thinking, "How does she even remember us? It was packed with lots of people." Then I remembered that we were wearing the same clothes and thought we aren't hard to recognize since we never change our clothes. Lol! Then this couple walked up to us who conducted the temple session and said, "Hey it's good to see you, you both were in the 2 o'clock session yesterday that we conducted." So maybe people recognized us for our faces and not the fact that we might have looked like bums who wear the same clothes the next day.
On the drive home we passed this bus that said, "Short Bus Racing." We cracked up laughing and had to take a picture. Great vacation!
Update:
I just found out this morning that I got the job for typing the dental school lectures. YAY!
What have I been craving the most of ...?!? Let's guess...
MILk! That's right... Wow I can't believe how much milk I bought. It was on sale and since I've been craving it I went to town! :)
