Portable Dishwasher, Those exist?
Our townhouse didn't come with a dishwasher. However, we weren't that disappointed because washing dishes for 2 doesn't take long. Our neighbors were moving out and asked if we wanted to buy there dishwasher. WHAT?!? I was thinking you're going to rip yours out and give it to us? Can you do that? I went over there to see and that's when I saw the portable dishwasher. You can wheel it all around your kitchen. Anyways I ended up buying it from them because I thought over the next 4 years that'd be a life saver with kids. So I wheeled it all the way up the street and into our house. LOL! I thought as I was rolling it home,"This might be the strangest thing to role up the street!" I am super excited though for it! We hook it up to the kitchen faucet and run it that way. Pretty ingenious if you ask me.
Update: Currently I'm waiting to hear back about 2 jobs. A sales representative for Aramark. I think that job would fit me like a glove and I know I'd love it. I had my second interview yesterday. The other job is typing Ryan's dental class's lectures. You'd have to type what the professor says verbatim. This would be incredible because I can work at home at my convenience. I could do it the whole 4 years of dental school even with kids. The big perk is they make around $2,000 a month. Not bad for such a low key job! I hear back about both jobs next week. I sure hope one works out!

I'm hoping I can blame being a klutz, or acting weird on being pregnant because "WOW"
Ok, So I don't think I was aware early on in my life about my behavior like I am now. But I have noticed that whatever I hold on too seems to slip between my hands like butter gripping a utensil. Monday for instance I made lasagna, a salad, and bread sticks for dinner. We sat down to enjoy our meal and I passed Ryan the salad. Only the bowl slipped from my hands and I passed it right onto his lap. Now how did that happen? Later, I was cutting my lasagna and low and behold my knife slipped from my fingers and showered Ryan once again not with salad but lasagna this time. This might be a really long pregnancy for him! I don't remember being so accident prone before. Well maybe I was and I just didn't notice. Lol!
I was in a bit of a rush because yesterday I was running around the whole town trying to get everything done. I woke up, worked out, went to the relief society activity at a pool that reminded me of the farmington pool. Then I went to meet up with the Elders to teach a lesson and found myself on the other side of town. How did that happen while I was following a GPS? I don't know? Once again, are my hands not functioning right or has this always been the case. My hands should be able to manage the steering wheel while listening to the GPS?
This next incident isn't klutz but mainly just not thinking properly...
Last night I have no idea what came over me but thinking what to cook for dinner I thought well we don't want to waste the black beans that have been in the fridge for 2 weeks now. So I put them in with some top roman and then randomly added hot dogs. Needless to say it made me sick just looking at it. So when Ryan came home from school I felt so bad and said, "I know you don't like when people waste food so I made a creation to put the black beans in and wow, it doesn't smell too normal!" I only set the table for one because I had completely lost my appetite cooking the worst meal hopefully of our married life. :) He of course eats anything with a smile and says thank you. However, while he was looking through the fridge I know he was thinking, "What can drown out the taste of anything...? Ranch & salsa!" Lol! What funny adventures marriage brings! Especially being married to someone who's off their rocker, but for now we'll blame it on pregnancy!

Surprise!!!!! We're having a baby!
So I'm so excited we're having a baby! I had been curious for sometime if I was pregnant or not. I've wanted to be a mom even while we we're dating, lol. So Wednesday morning I took the test and low and behold I saw two lines meaning that I'm pregnant. I was so excited to tell Ryan. I went to the store and bought baby back ribs and some baby potatoes. He came home I acted normal for a bit asking how school was. Then when I said, "Are you wondering why were having such a big meal and baby back ribs?" He said, "Ya, I was actually thinking that just now." I said cause we're having a baby! His face was priceless, shocked & excitement in one. How fun!
I'm 5 WEEKS ALONG DUE MARCH 19,2012
Are cute little neighbors knocked on our door to show us some babies! Baby birds fell out of their nests... I absolutely love these adorable little kids. Ryan & I sat down and made a new little nest for them and read up on how to care from them from home. Ryan caught a fly cut it in half with my kitchen knife :( and then fed it to the little baby birds. What a provider Ryan is... LOL!

A Mother's Love
I have loved being in Indiana, but now that Ryan is in school all the time & were completely moved in I'm finding myself noticing I'm all alone. For those of you who don't know, being alone isn't my favorite. I loved my mission because I always had a companion with me. That's hard for some people who serve missions to have a companion with them at all times. For me it was heaven, lol. I've found productive things to do while Ryan has been at school. However, I get really excited to make dinner for Ryan when he comes home so we can sit down and visit before he has to go back to studying.
My mom is still my best friend. She calls me everyday just to talk. If she hasn't called me for the day I call her. She can always seem to make me laugh and lift my spirits. I got birthday money and I had this thought to go and get a new purse since the one I'm using is the one from my mission and it has holes in the lining and is torn up on the outside. I didn't get it because I now that the money for a newlywed is better saved then spent. My mom has known this and today I got a package from my mom that is the purse I've always wanted. I've never seen it until now of course. It has lots of pockets on the outside & inside. That made me so happy so now I can have a spot for everything in my purse and it can be organized. My old purse was a bag that once something was put in it the items became scattered vicariously through it. I love my mom so much and for the little kind acts of service she's done for me throughout my life!

1st week adventures in Indiana
Wow, this is a very hott place to live. Yesterday I planted our small little garden and flowers and within five minutes I was dripping wet. It was 95 degrees and very humid!
So we have brand new towels since we're married and I have washed and dried them twice to find brown fuzzies all over both Ryan and I. I don't know the cure to fixing towels from being new to being worn in. Before Ryan goes to school I check to see if he has any weird fuzzies from the towels. I guess in a couple more washes they'll be gone I hope.
I love love to cook! It's so fun to think, "What should I make for dinner today?" I have never had anyone to cook for and I thoroughly enjoy cooking. I had no idea how much I love it until now. I was so proud of my casserole Sunday. I have only made 3 dinners so far but I get excited every time! :)
Knock, knock... in comes Breana. We have a 3 year old neighbor who knocks once and then just walks into your house. She is such an outgoing little girl. We have Lots of little kids by us. Saturday night we played football with them and we had a blast. Since the oldest is probably 7 it's so funny because they are just figuring out the game of football.
I have had so much fun sharing the gospel. At Walmart I'll talk to the workers or anyone who comes in my path. My neighbors I'm hoping are coming over Wednesday for when I feed the missionaries to hear what we believe. I am surprised when I first got out here that I was a little nervous to open my mouth and share the gospel. But once I did it the next time it was easier.
Yesterday I sat down to start looking for a job and the moment I flipped open my laptop I got a call for an interview. A company I had called back in March asked if I wanted to come in for an interview that night. So I picked Ryan up from school and we headed there. It was an hour interview with a group portion and one on one. I got the job :) I am excited to start to make some money :) I am on a sales team for Cutco. I start training this weekend.
Ryan is so patient with me. It's hard for me to learn the streets and where I'm going. I went to pick him up from school and got lost. He waited for awhile. The roads are crazy. It's like they through a bunch of noodles down and said these will be our on and off ramps. I'm learning slowly :)

The Study room, Ryan getting ready for his 2 tests
upstairs bathroom... those fuzzy brown towels have left stuff all over the shower curtains. Yay, get to clean them again :-)

Wedding Day!
Ok, so I am going to have to apologize up front because I am going to have to type fast and I will have a lot of mistakes. But time is so precious since we're so busy in Indiana.
Well it really was everything I'd ever dreamed it would be. Except I didn't sleep a wink the night before the big day. Lol. We actually had our reception the night before and it was so beautiful and so much fun to get to talk with everyone, I enjoyed every minute! Everyone was there in both our families except for Ryan's brother, Matt, who is in Russia. However, he had a video for us at the luncheon so it was like he was there too. My heart was so full with joy! I want to say thank you so much for everyone who made the long commute and stood in line because it meant a lot to me. I loved the everything, the decorations but mainly the company. We didn't eat anything from the ice-cream buffet from cold stone. But I really just wanted to see everyone! My companions came which meant so much to me.
Ryan dropped me off around 10 and then I franticly packed for our honeymoon to Florida. I was trying to just take a carry on since it's $60 for a bag. I fit A LOT in this small bag. It is my official Marry Poppins bag. Ryan was so impressed! Then I spent all night tossing and turning anticipating the next day. Running over in my head my list of things I couldn't forget: my recommend, marriage license, bag for our honeymoon, birth certificate so I could get on our cruise. Oh boy oh boy... and then the thoughts about I'm going to be a Hirschi tomorrow. What a fun night to remember.
The next morning Ryan came and picked me up... Boy oh boy he looked especially handsome that morning. We drove to the temple holding hands. The sealing was so incredibly special to me. Words can't describe what spiritual experience it was for me. I just know that God approves of this marriage. Then I got ready like the speed of light so we could go take pictures quickly so Ryan could get to the luncheon on time so he wouldn't starve the rest of the day :). We got pretty good at taking pictures. Tony our photographer from Hazen's cracks me up. "Danielle chin down, look that way." "Ryan hand in pocket with thumb out" I loved the way the pictures turned out! Thanks to my mom telling me to go with them.
The luncheon was such a party! Ryan's parents did such a good job! We went to Joy Luck in Bountiful and Ryan had his all you can eat lunch. He always is disappointed in luncheons where they barely give you any food at all. We stuffed our faces and then our families gave us some great memory gifts. My brother McCabe gave me coyote urine (turned out to be perfume luckily) from a funny story from hunting coyotes. My dad gave me an easy button because it always reminds me of the gospel. Sam talked about my funny danielleism's (like when I said when we were taking a family picture that the bubbles would give it good side affects instead of special affects). Christy gave me binki's because when I was little I had to have 3 in each hand and one in my mouth in order to fall asleep. My mom gave me a gorgeous picture of Christ walking on the water, which it's my favorite one. I started to cry because it has so much meaning. She also gave me his, hers, ours plates for eating. LOL, I am just like my mom we want to try what is on the other persons plate. This way Ryan can put what he's willing to share on the plate titled "Ours." :) Ryan's brother Travis gave him a blown up picture of him riding on a horse with a hat but naked across a river in the mountain. Don't worry it only showed a part of his bum. But the bishops wife chin dropped pretty far. Jessica gave binki's because of the talent he has with kids to help them calm down and obey. They have named Ryan The Baby Whisper. Matt's video was broadcasted with some CLASSIC stories of Ryan. Matt gave him gas cans so he wouldn't run out of gas like he did. Jordan gave him an alarm clock because like I've come to find out he loves to set it really early and then let it beap for a long time before he gets up. That's only happened twice. Mom gave him some food, linked to Ryan always saying "Foods a crutch." She gave a lot of sweet memories of him. Kyle gave him the urn back that Ryan gave him. This ern is has a cremated bat & fish. Kyle had been storing the dead bat & fish in his mom's freezer. So Ryan cremated them both as a Christmas gift to Kyle. What a FUN TIME!
Then we headed off for our honeymoon which began sharing it with the whole airplane for a red eye flight to Florida. Now that is CLASSIC!
